This residential is ideal for young people who have a keen interest in the outdoors - whether you are new to the outdoors, want to develop your existing skills or are thinking of a career in the outdoors. It is run by our experienced Mountaineering Instructors who believe that delivering the highest quality of training can inspire young people for life. The itinerary has been set with both enjoyment and quality in mind.

This residential is 5 days long and you will be able to try out a range of outdoor mountain activities. Below is an example itinerary (subject to change depending on your group and the weather!):
This will be a week of making new friends, challenging yourself by exploring new activities and having lots of fun.
You will be meeting in Keswick, a town located in the north of the Lake District National Park. Catch the train to Windermere (changing at Oxenholme) or Penrith. From here, buses to Keswick leave roughly every hour and the bus journey takes about 30 - 45mins.
You will be staying at a local bunkhouse throughout your residential. The bunkhouse is basic but comfortable with a self-catering facilities.
Food will be provided for you throughout the five days and you will be cooking for the group in small teams. We'll provide ingredients for breakfasts, lunches and dinners and also have plenty of snacks to choose from. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know well in advance so we can cater for you.
