Residential ideas for your team...
Our environmental and conservation residentials usually run over 2 - 5 days and combine sessions such as team building, staff and personal development with hands on conservation work. We will work with partner organisations (e.g. the National Trust, local ranger services or local environmental projects) to set up the conservation work days and our own staff team will deliver sessions around this. Examples of conservation/ environmental residentials:
- Spend a weekend in the Peak District, exploring some of the fantastic habitats and wildlife that can be found here. Led by our experienced instructors, your team will learn about the importance of habitat types such as Peat bogs and their role in storing carbon. The next day, get stuck in with some hands on conservation work, a great team building excersise and good fun too.
- Complete the John Muir Discovery Award over five days (this can done over several weeks, two weekends or a full week). Read more about the John Muir Discovery Award here.
