Who are Tailor-Made Activity Days for?
Taking inspiration from the Activity, Adventure and Rock Climbing Days that we run, Tailor-Made Activity Days allow you and a group of others to book your chosen date/s, and a selection of your preferred activities.
Tailor-Made Activity Days are perfect for:
- Groups of friends or class mates who want to spend days together during school holidays;
- Weekends or school holidays when parents/guardians are at work;
- Dates that we don't run our scheduled programme of Activity, Adventure or Rock Climbing Days on;
- Choosing the sorts of activities that you'd like to do;
- Birthday celebrations or special occasions.
What Activities Can I Include?
You can choose from the following activities. All activities are tailored to the age/s of your group and build on any previous experience that you have - there is always something new to learn and do!:
Forest & Bushcraft Adventures
Forest based activities, bushcraft skills, tools and crafts, campfires and campfire cooking, shelter building, tree climbing and scrambling.
Outdoor Activities
Rock climbing and abseiling, scrambling, weaselling, river exploring/scrambling, orienteering, navigating and scavenger hunts.
Wildlife & Conservation Days
Heading in search of the different and wonderful flora and fauna, conservation and practical project work within the Peak District National Park. Book five days and complete the John Muir Award (these can be five consecutive days or spaced out in any pattern that works for you).
Cost & Booking
Tailor-made Activity Days cost £45.00 per person, per day and are based on groups of 5 - 8 participants. Smaller group sizes are possible but the cost will be proportionally higher.

- Your name, email address and contact telephone number;
- Preferred date/s;
- Number of participants;
- Preferred type of day / activities you'd like to focus on.
We will then confirm availability and details for you and set up a private booking portal for each group member to pay for their place (or for parents to pay for the amount of places they require) and receive tailored joining information directly.

Adventure Expeditions is a not-for-profit entity and we are committed to widening participation in the outdoors for young people of all ages. We love what we do and want to share that with you. Remember, you don't need to have any previous experience of any kind to join our Adventure Days - all we ask is that you arrive with enthusiasm to explore!
Childcare vouchers: Our application to accept childcare vouchers is in progress, and we hope to be able to accept these very soon. If you have a young person who is keen to take part, please get in touch and we will see if we can support you through our bursary scheme instead.
If you have any additional needs or specific requirements that you would like to discuss in advance of making a booking or joining us for a programme, please do call and chat to us. We are an experienced staff team (including primary and secondary school teachers) and can work with you to ensure that our programmes are accessible for you and meet your needs as far as we can.
