Mountain Training NGB Courses
Adventure Expertise is AE's professional training arm and an established provider of National Governing Body (NGB) award courses for Mountain Training.
Choose from set course dates (ideal for individuals or small groups) or for groups of colleagues (usually four or more) choose dates and locations to suit you with a tailor-made course.
Lowland Leader Award: Perfect for forest school leaders and those working with Bronze and Silver DofE groups.
Expedition Skills Module: A bolt-on module that allows MT Lowland and Hill and Moorland Award leaders to use their MT awards on expeditions and outdoor programmes that include overnight camps.
Mountain Leader Award: The established award for those wanting to lead groups in mountainous terrain in the UK.
NB: AE offers bursaries to support the cost of undertaking the Mountain Leader award to those who wish to use the qualification to work with young people in the outdoors in some capacity. Use the Mountain Leader link below for more details.

ITC First Aid Courses
ITC certificated courses designed to give you practical, relevant training. Join a course dates or arrange a tailor-made course for a group of colleagues on dates and locations to suit. All courses include certification fees, qualifications are valid for three years.
Outdoor First Aid - 16 hours
A two day course that validates all outdoor qualifications and prepares you to deal with a wide range of injuries, illnesses and incidents where help may be some time away. Content is practical and engaging with input from experienced trainers.
Outdoor Emergency Action - 8 hours
A one day course focusing on giving you a strong structure to apply to outdoor first aid incidents. By the end of the day you will have a first aid practice that you can apply calmly and with confidence.
First Aid for School Staff - 4 hours
A short course that is tailored to the aims of your staff team - an ideal course for INSET days to provide vital skills and accreditation.
First Aid for DofE Participants - 4 hours
A course developed by Adventure Expeditions to give DofE participants a thorough grounding in basic outdoor first aid beyond DofE pre-expedition training. Participants receive ITC certification.
