Skills for Independent Adventures
Like our Family Activity Days, Family Outdoor Skills are delivered through our training arm, Adventure Expertise. Taking your family rock climbing or into the mountains on adventures may seem daunting but we would love to show you that a whole range of adventures is much more accessible than you think.
These courses are therefore designed to give you the confidence to get out with your family without an instructor or guide. Sessions are tailored specifically to your family - you, the ages of your children and age-specific adaptations and techniques, what you would like to aim for and the places you would like to go.
Running courses to equip families with skills to have their own adventures is some of the most enjoyable work that we do and we'd love to help you get going. Lifelong family outdoor adventures await!
While COVID-19 may present ongoing uncertainty, our COVID-19 Booking Guarantee allows you to book with confidence in case of needing to reschedule - follow links below for more details.

Learn to climb independently as a family. A Family Climbing Skills day differs from a Rock Climbing day in that we spend the day looking at technical skills for you to be able to safely set up rock climbs for your and your family under your own steam.
We are passionate about teaching outdoor skills and have safe, simple systems to show you so that you and your family can head out to enjoy rock climbing when you want to. These skills are much more accessible and achievable than you might think and can lead to a lifetime of shared adventures together - we'd love to help you on that journey.
