AE works with a number of schools undertaking The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award each year to plan and undertake exciting Adventurous Journey options either in the UK or overseas.
We are keen to help schools and colleges achieve the Adventurous Journey that their pupils wish to have, whatever level of challenge or type of environment they would like to visit best.
Over the past 10 years we have worked with organisations from all over the World including Nigeria, Spain, Kenya, Germany and Holland - many on an annual basis, forging links between countries and visiting different beautiful areas for Adventurous Journeys as friends.

The DofE's International Award
The DofE's International Award allows participants from across the globe to take part in their DofE Award. Currently, there are more than a million participants signed up to the Award in over 130 countries.
The International Award is similar to the UK based DofE Award, with Bronze, Silver and Gold levels and covering four sections: Voluntary Service, Physical Recreation, Skills and Adventurous Journey. At Gold there is also a Residential section.

Your Adventurous Journey
We work with International Schools each year and help them to plan and deliver bespoke Adventerous Journey programmes. Come to the UK and experience some of the UK's most beautiful and picturesque landscapes in one of our National Parks. Or join us on a canoeing journey in Scotland, paddling across the famous Loch Ness and enjoying some of Scotland's dramatic mountain scenery. We also run expeditions and adventurous journeys in a number of other European countries, so the choice is yours!
All Adventurous Journey's can also be combined with cultural visits, we can help you plan an unforgettable trip for your students.
