Outline itinerary
Day 1, Acclimitisation Day: Upon arrival you will meet your instructors and get to know your team mates. You will go back over aspects of the Silver DofE training syllabus such as emergency procedures and first aid. In addition, you will plan your expedition route and decide on your Expedition Team Goal. In the afternoon, your instructor/ DofE assessor will complete all expedition checks so you are ready to set off in the morning. Camp overnight.
Day 2 - 3: You'll complete pre-expedition checks with your instructor/assessor. Each day you will walk along your planned route, with instructors supervising you remotely throughout and meeting you at agreed checkpoints. Your instructors will camp with you (or near you) at the campsites each evening.
Day 4: Your final expedition day! At your finish point you will have a debrief with your instructor and give your expedition goal presentation. In the days following the expedition, our team will upload your assessor report directly to your eDofE account, and we will be in touch via email to confirm this has been done.
